I am doing research on the Christian name "Church of God / Christ with signs following." Who is the religion that practices serpent handling. Do you know the symbols of that name?
From what little I know, I think it is a religion loosely based Evangelical Baptist. It is native to the Appalachian Mountains, but can not assign other symbols other than the usual, plus a heavy reliance on quotations from the Bible. Unless you count as a sign that women are considered for the hair and teeth relief … LOL
