church hymns for funerals

Help with Catholic hymns and / or poems for a funeral?
My father-in-law died yesterday and he was Catholic. My husband did not set foot in a Catholic church in more than 10 years and do not remember the hymns for the funeral of his father. I am also looking for poems or something to be read at funerals. My father-in-law was a farmer and a quiet man. Any help would be great. Thanks to everyone who has the answer.
