I think religion prevents the poorest of the poor? give the poor the wealth of the Vatican, no more hunger,?
The Vatican has made some radical changes in the priesthood and to allow women, I feel the Vatican to change the Catholic religion, what would Jesus do? I thought that faith was rock solid, what will be next, maybe the marriage, why not religion keeps you poor and afraid to question the New Testament, was written 100 years after the first and that is when Jesus referred crusifixion mark on the cross, why do not ever talk? the new minute is the murder of a young at the hands of "Jerry" father of how many priests are doing things they should not do, such as alcohol problems, sexual problems, dealing with people very vulnarable, as Bono said, "how can we take World hunger? The Catholic Church had great wealth in gold, both paintings, diamonds, the same Jews and Hindus, etc. have great wealth, Jesus says there are 3 or more persons are gathered in my name, I'll be there, did not have a church?
You forget Jesus also said that those who live by the sword shall perish by it. The wa Catholic Church built by the sword and die by the sword of the Word of God. But they are people, mainly Christians and organizations that help the poor, politicians that keep the poor in poverty and the lack of desire to serve. Everythig who have given them why would they? And those who do not want to change their situation is very difficult because of past mistakes, or the rules stupid that is applied by the government.
