Why a colleague tells me that the Unitarian Church is a cult?
I'm becoming a more religious and spiritual person, and I want to find a church that is good for me. He is a Christian pastor who has many good things to say, but said the money Unitarianism is a religion. I doubt that was a real religion, but in terms of what it said? He did not explain the reason for thinking that. From what I read my beliefs are more like Unitarians. I'm trying to get constructive feedback.
Which means that the Unitarians do not believe Jesus was God. We believe that a man who had some unique lessons and valuable, but he was a man. Unitarian Universalism is not a cult. We have about 800 thousand members worldwide. Unitarian Universalism is a religion of freedom, tolerance, reason and love. You do not believe in a God to be a UU (like me). Many Unitarian Universalists are actually atheists. If you ever have a minister yet time, that the Unitarians are just people with different ideas of their religion – do not spoil it.
