What is the purpose of a church? His church has a mission statement?
Just look for different perspectives – Poor or not the right answer. But please, be nice and be respectful of others. thx.
The true Church, the Church began with the descent of the Spirit Holy Pentecost and is composed of all true believers. The Holy Spirit baptizes us all in the body of Christ. Water Baptism is not essential for salvation but it is a testimony to the world. (Acts 1:8, I Corinthians 6:19-20, Acts 2:1-4, I Corinthians 12:13, Ephesians 4:05, Acts 10:47) the local church: The church must be local composed of those who trust Christ as Savior. This meeting, therefore, is under the direct guidance of the Holy Spirit. mission of the local church is the worship, praise, prayer, fellowship, encouragement and evangelism of the lost. The pastor / teacher is a man called by God. (Acts 2:42-47, Acts 14:21-23, Hebrews 10:22-25, II Timothy 2:1-2, Ephesians 4:7, 11-15)
